Château Haut-Brion / La Mission

Château Haut-Brion and Château La Mission Haut-Brion are two prestigious wine estates located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation of Bordeaux, France.

Château Haut-Brion, founded in 1533, is the only estate outside of the Médoc classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification. Known for its refined, complex, and long-lived red and white wines, Haut-Brion is recognized for its distinctive smoky, earthy character and elegant structure. It has been owned by the Dillon family since 1935. Both estates are highly esteemed, with Haut-Brion representing finesse and classic balance, while La Mission is known for intensity and richness.

Château Cheval Blanc

Château Cheval Blanc is one of the most prestigious wine estates in Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, and holds the rare classification of Premier Grand Cru Classé “A”, the highest rank in the Saint-Émilion classification.

Located on the border with Pomerol, Cheval Blanc is renowned for its unique terroir, which combines gravel, clay, and sand soils—perfect for its signature blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This combination gives the wine an exceptional balance of power, elegance, and aromatic complexity, with notes of dark fruits, florals, and spice, aging gracefully over decades.

Château Lafite-Rothschild

Château Lafite-Rothschild is a legendary Premier Grand Cru Classé estate in Pauillac, Bordeaux, recognized for its elegance, finesse, and exceptional aging potential.

With a history dating back to the 17th century, Lafite became part of the Rothschild family in 1868. Its vineyards, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, produce wines known for their silky tannins, complex aromas, and remarkable longevity.

As one of Bordeaux’s most sought-after wines, Lafite embodies both tradition and prestige, consistently ranking among the finest wines in the world.

Château Le Pin

Le Pin is a cult winery in Pomerol, Bordeaux, famed for its rarity and opulence.

Founded in 1979 by the Thienpont family, this tiny 2.7-hectare estate produces exclusively Merlot-based wines. Known for their rich texture, exotic fruit, and velvety smoothness, Le Pin wines are among the most sought-after in the world.

With extremely limited production, often under 600 cases per year, Le Pin is a true collector’s gem, rivaling the finest names in Bordeaux despite its young history.
