Domus Artium Reserve
Thomas Keller partnered with Michel Rolland to create a Bordeaux Right-Bank wine, crafted for Keller’s restaurants and fans around the world. Inspired by this process, Keller asked digital artist Beeple to design a label that visually represents the winemaking journey, from vineyard to bottle.
Beeple used 621 images from his Everydays series, one for each day from when the wine entered barrels to its bottling, to create a unique collage for the label. This collaboration blends Rolland’s winemaking expertise, Keller’s culinary vision, and Beeple’s innovative art, resulting in Tous Les Jours 621, a wine and artwork in one.
Vers La Pluie: The Way of the Rain
Vers La Pluie was produced for Domus Artium Reserve and The Way of the Rain by Famille Rolland, and features artwork by Sibylle Szaggars Redford. Vers La Pluie is crafted by enologist Michel Rolland in Fronsac. All the necessary ingredients and conditions in 2010 aligned to produce a vintage of exceptional quality. Harvesting occurred from October oth to 15th under sunny skies and in high spirits. The musts were rich in sugar with excellent aromatic qualities, complimented by very good pH levels that enhanced their fresh character. This resulted in a record amount of anthocyanins and, after prolonged skin contact, tender and silky tannins, just the way we prefer them to be.
